In Toowoomba, there is a walking track known as Hell Hole Gully. Up the road from the artist’s studio, there’s a rise looking up from the escarpment to the track that is part of the bridle trail. The plateau of grass and the distance that framed it attracted the eye. It is another of the series of paintings of the Toowoomba escarpment.
